Business Sheffield is the business support team of Sheffield City Council. It's working alongside Marketing Sheffield, the council’s tourism and place marketing team. Sheffield’s visitor economy was worth more than £1.2b in 2019 and much of that value comes from the quality of the experience provided by small independent operators across the retail, hospitality and leisure sector, the hardest hit sector of this pandemic. We want to help businesses look to the future, understand what the opportunities are, and work together to rebuild our visitor economy.

Utilising specialist expertise and learning from others is just the start. There’s a long road ahead of us but if we work together, capitalise on the opportunities that are in front of us, and continue to offer an experience that is distinctive then there is hope and a bright future ahead.
